Random...

Finally, I get three minutes to post something! Probably don't, but whatev, it's my time to do what I want.

Let's see....yesterday was Rememberance Day here. My boyfriend and I went to the big ceremony downtown, and we actually were able to see everything. The thing I don't understand is how many people don't care about Rememberance Day. It's like, "Halloween is over, let's start advertising for Christmas." And people don't feel compelled to say, "Thank a veteran."

Sens aren't doing so hot right now. We're almost a quarter of the way through the season, and we're at 6-7-2. Not sure what's wrong, but since I can't play hockey, nor coach it, I can't pass judgement.

Hey!

It's October 28th, and it's snowing. Unbelievable! My Sens won last night, after a five game losing streak. It's amazing how many people are bandwagon jumpers in Ottawa. The Sens are winning, we love them. The Sens are losing, they can't do anything right. I love my sens through thick thin and otherwise. When one gets traded, it's like losing an extension of my family. I take my hockey seriously. I remember the year we got Dany Heatley. It was almost like I had won a million bucks. Heatley is my favourite player, well, other than Mike Fisher.

My First Blog

Okay, so I have tried these before, and I always tend to let go of them. But now I have stuff to say, and hopefully, people that listen to it.

This is going to be a blog about everything...sports, politics, life in general. A bit about me, I'm 28, work in a mailroom, hate my job (but it pays the bills), have a boyfriend, live on my own, and for some random reason, am looking forward to Halloween more than I have in the past...nearly ten years.

Oh, yeah, and I love sports...football (New England Patriots), baseball (Boston Red Sox) and hockey (Ottawa Senators). Listing these, you'd think I was an American, from Boston, but I'm not. I'm from Ottawa. But I would love to visit Boston some day. I want to travel so many places...All across Canada, England, Scotland, Ireland, Lebanon, New Zealand, Australia, Korea...guess I'd better get a real job, and start saving money. Anyway, so this one is real short, because I started this on a whim, and hopefully, I will have time to continue tomorrow.

Ciao!
